The Ontario Real Estate Association provides the education required to become a licensed registrant with the Real Estate Council Of Ontario. You will need to pass three pre-registration courses within 18 months, after which you will enter an articling phase. During the two-year articling phase, you will need to successfully complete an additional three courses. These include the mandatory: "Real Property Law", "Commercial/Residential Phase 3" and then a choice of electives. These electives include: "Principals of Appraisal", "Principles of Mortgage Financing", "Real Estate Investment Analysis", "Principles of Property Management".
